When you do your test for your G2 and G driving license you need to consider a few important things. For instance, should you do your test inside or outside the main city? What time of day is the best time to schedule? Here are points that will you choose the best road test conditions for yourself.

Inside the City Area

Large cities have more restrictions and constraints on driving. These areas will have a larger volume of cyclists, pedestrians, cars on the road, more single lanes and driving restrictions such as forbidden turns. On a lot of occasions, you will be parking on the street and will need to park quickly to avoid blocking lanes and slowing down traffic. As a result, downtown driving will be more stressful because there are more factors to watch for.

Outside the City

Doing a road test outside the city is less stressful. It’s also easier because there are fewer pedestrians, fewer cyclists, fewer cars on the road and the speed limits are a bit faster. The examiners tend to be less stressed as well. These road test centers are better for nervous drivers. The road test will be easier but if you live in the city or will be traveling there often you need the relatable driving experience.

Timing

In the morning everything is just starting their day and have different levels alertness. Monday mornings are a stressful time for everyone and it won’t be the best time to do your road test. In the middle of the day, the examiners are at a moderate level for stress. The best time would be to do your road test at the end of the day during the last testing time. This is the end of the workday for the examiner and often they just want to finish their work quickly.
